The Value of Brand Stewardship

The obvious time to engage an outside brand resource is for a planned brand initiative.
Major efforts like brand, product and service, launches, rebranding, repositioning, portfolio reframing and more.
But in addition to those planned efforts, we’ve found that the deeper and more impactful value of our brand work comes from day-to-day stewardship:
The work with leadership teams and marketing to constantly calibrate brand and business direction as the organization subtlety evolves.

More than a project, this ongoing work requires deeper collaboration, context understanding and a more complete grasp of the overall business.
Unfortunately, most companies allow years of ‘broken’ elements and decisions to accumulate before engaging a brand resource.
Brand stewardship works to fix issues and challenges in real time.
And like other forms of maintenance, it saves companies bigger problems and costs in the long run.
This is the business of Direction.
This is the work of Cohesion.
